Haptivate Studio is provided by Kashif Shaikh, under the Finely Studio brand, at Fortune Prospero, Pune, India, 411048. Contact [email protected] for product, purchase-access or legal questions.

These terms and Apple's license

For copies obtained from the Mac App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement governs the software license. These terms explain Haptivate's features, exports and support and supplement that license. They do not replace it or reduce mandatory consumer rights. Apple's purchase terms also apply to transactions through the App Store.

What Studio provides for free

Studio lets you create, edit and save haptic projects, use presets, keep editable project copies and try your work on a compatible iPhone using the separate, free Haptivate Companion app. These authoring and playback features do not require an export purchase or a Haptivate account. Leaving a rating or review is never a condition of access.

Physical feedback requires supported iPhone hardware. Bluetooth playback requires permission, an approved connection, compatible app versions and Companion in the foreground. A cable is not required. The watch illustration is an interactive teaching aid; it does not connect to or control an Apple Watch.

Paid export access

A purchase is required to create the playable or integration exports covered by Studio's export-access offer, including AHAP patterns, synthesized WAV files and Swift integration examples. Saving your editable project is separate and remains free.

The single export offer, where available in your App Store region, is:

Offer What it provides US reference price
Lifetime Exports A permanent, non-consumable export unlock for Haptivate Studio, paid once US$4.99 once

Apple's purchase screen shows the actual price, currency and applicable tax treatment before you confirm. The US reference price is US$4.99; Apple’s purchase screen is authoritative for your region. Regional prices may differ. We do not take card payments or require a website or social-media login to unlock exports.

Lifetime access

Lifetime Exports is a one-time purchase with no recurring renewal. It unlocks Studio's covered export features permanently, subject to Apple's handling of refunds or revoked transactions. It is not a promise of compatibility with every future operating system or device, nor an entitlement to separate products.

Restoration, pending payments and refunds

Use Settings → Export access & purchases → Restore Purchases in Studio with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Apple connectivity may be needed to complete a purchase or restoration. Access may remain unavailable while Apple reports a purchase as pending, canceled, unverified, refunded or revoked. Contact us if a completed purchase is not recognized.

Apple handles App Store refund requests. You can request a refund through Apple; eligibility depends on the transaction and applicable rules. Nothing here removes a refund, cancellation or other remedy required by consumer law.

Your projects and exported work

You retain the rights you have in your original patterns and other content. We do not claim ownership simply because you create or edit it in Studio. You may use your original exported patterns in personal and commercial projects. You are responsible for having permission to use any material you import or incorporate.

Third-party material or sample code with a separately identified license remains subject to that license. These terms do not grant ownership of the Haptivate app, its brand, illustration assets or preset library as a standalone collection or Apple's names and reference effects. The software license remains governed by the Standard EULA.

Keep backups of important projects. Deleting a library project does not delete every separately saved copy, export or backup. Haptivate does not provide cloud recovery of your local work.

Playback and export limitations

Haptics can feel different across devices, settings and people. Test your work on the hardware and in the interaction where you plan to use it. A rendered waveform, successful transfer or playback acknowledgment does not establish what someone physically felt.

WAV exports are synthesized signals, not recordings of an iPhone's physical actuator. A texture or frequency-style control does not guarantee an exact actuator frequency on an iPhone. Integration examples require testing in your own app. Haptivate is a creative tool, not a medical device or a measurement of a person's nervous system. Stop playback if it causes discomfort.

Privacy, updates and support

Our Studio Privacy Policy explains local storage, Bluetooth, Apple services and support information. Updates may be needed for compatibility, fixes or security. Availability can depend on hardware, operating systems and Apple's services; we do not promise uninterrupted Bluetooth connections or compatibility with unsupported systems.

We may revise these supplemental terms as the product or law changes. We will show the effective date and give additional notice where required. Changes will not retroactively remove rights already granted for your original exported work or override mandatory rights for an existing purchase.

The Standard EULA addresses license restrictions, warranties, liability and governing law. Applicable statutory protections continue to apply. For questions or a complaint, contact [email protected].

Haptivate is independent and is not made by, sponsored by or affiliated with Apple. Apple, iPhone, Apple Watch and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.
