A visual workspace for creating haptic feedback. Shape a pattern on your Mac, try it on iPhone and refine the details.
The idea behind Studio
A tap can confirm an action. A rhythm can mark a moment. Haptivate Studio gives these small interactions a place to take shape, with tools for editing a pattern and trying it on a real device.
What you can do
Start with a pattern of your own
Arrange taps, sustained vibrations and pauses on a timeline. Begin with an editable preset or build from scratch.
Shape the details
Adjust timing, strength and texture. Repeat a rhythm, combine layers and refine how an effect changes over time.
Keep building on your work
Save an editable project and return to it later. Export options include Core Haptics patterns, synthesized WAV signals and Swift integration examples. Export access is an optional purchase.
How it works
-
Create
Arrange a pattern on your Mac.
-
Try
Feel it on iPhone with Companion.
-
Refine
Adjust the details and try again.
Connect Studio to Companion over Bluetooth. Keep Companion open in the foreground while you try your patterns.
Good to know
Do I need an iPhone?
You can create, edit and save projects on Mac. To feel your patterns, you need Companion on a haptics-capable iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
What does a WAV export contain?
It is a synthesized signal for compatible workflows, not a recording of the iPhone motor. AHAP exports describe patterns for Apple Core Haptics.
